It says "A place in the sun". Don't really know what it means, but I guess this aircraft was painted in this gorgeous livery to promote www.einplatzandersonne.de.

I usually would pack up and leave by the time the very last rays of the evening sun have vanished... but I hung on a little longer today for this beast - one of only two IL96-400Ts ever built. What a stroke of luck I had to get this extremely rare aircraft.

To celebrate Peanut's 60th anniversary in 2010, Condor has teamed up with Peanut's licensing agency to launch a fundraising campaign to support the international charity organisation Wings of Help. The flagship of each Condor fleet features 8 Peanuts characters, while for all other aircraft, characters will be incorporated into the Condor logo.

Arrival of Lufthansa's 2nd A380, D-AIMB, on runway 26L after a 1.5h sightseeing flight over the Alps. The aircraft had arrived in MUC at 0638h in the morning to be christened after the name of this city - "München".
The water canon salute was done just as the aircraft was taxiing into Apron 2. Strong winds had prevented the fire trucks from forming a perfect water arch!
